Export your book list

STEP 01

Go to Goodreads

Sign in to your Goodreads account and click your profile picture in the top-right corner.

STEP 02

Open "My Books"

From the dropdown menu, click "My Books" to open your bookshelf.

STEP 03

Click "Import and export"

Scroll to the bottom-left sidebar and click "Import and export." On mobile, use the desktop site.

STEP 04

Export your library

Click "Export Library." Goodreads will prepare a CSV file and email you a download link โ€” it usually arrives within a few minutes.

STEP 05

Download the CSV

Click the link in the email to download your "goodreads_library_export.csv" file.

Upload to Book Scout

STEP 01

Sign in to Book Scout

Create a free account or sign in if you already have one.

STEP 02

Open "Books Read"

In the app, tap the "Books Read" tab in the bottom navigation.

STEP 03

Tap "Import CSV"

Tap the Import CSV button, select your exported file, and Book Scout will automatically map your books, ratings, and read dates.
